With Sherry Influence, Dàlvve was enhanced with the rich flavours from Jerez. A deeper, darker whisky where the light smoky bourbon notes of Dàlvve join company with sherry matured casks.

Dàlvve The Signature Malt is something of a milestone in our distillery history. When it was presented in November 2016, it was our first on-going product that stepped into the whisky world. Matured on average for five years in first fill bourbon barrels, medium smoky style at 46% ABV, light yet tasteful, it immediately became a success.

The Origins

BERG – is a sherry matured whisky which has the same natural colour as the Nordingrå granite which can be seen protruding the dramatic landscape of the High Coast. The casks have previously held the flavoursome Pedro Ximénez sherry.

Älv is the Swedish word for River.
Outside our front door runs the beautiful river Ångermanälven, the heart of the High Coast region and essential to our distillery. We are able to make such elegant whisky thanks to the naturally cold, crystal clear water sourced from the river.
Älv — a well-balanced soft single malt with vanilla tones. Älv is our most elegant whisky.

Timmer is our peated whisky, our humble tribute to the men and women who once lived and worked here. Those who risked their lives fighting icy cold waters as they steered the heavy logs downstream and kept warm by burning fires under the pale moon light.

Hav is the Swedish word for Sea.
In the majestic landscape of a world heritage site, High Coast Distillery sits where the beautiful river Ångermanälven merges into the sea. Here, the river is just about to reach the coast and slowly disappear out into the world, just like our single malt whisky.
The message Hav brings to the world is an expression of oak, with a touch of spice and a little northern hardiness.

Our first own whisky under the Box brand was presented to the whisky world in June 2014. The name The Pioneer was most fitting. A pioneer bottling of just over three year old whisky, young, affectionate and promising something great. A classic bottle on many collectors shelves.

The Festival

We thought a whisky festival of magnitude needed its own recurring festival edition. Something that comes in a very limited amount and can only be purchased if you visit our whisky festival in person. Before the 2014 festival we got to work and our legendary Festival series was born.

In November 2014, the second official bottle was released in our first product line, The Early Days Collection. It was named The Challenger. With more smokiness and elements of sherry, it challenged the notions of what a three-year-old whisky could deliver.

The four editions in our The Origins series, Älv, Hav,Berg and Timmer, focus on our origins and the place where we make our whisky. The Harbours Collection is based on Hav, with its slightly smoky character and balanced spiciness in different cask depths. With these four releases, it is a journey along ports that have been of great importance to the High Coast. A part of the High Coast origin.
