With a view of the majestic Ångermanälven river, on a hill with the historic distillery building as the nearest neighbour, you’ll find our Visitor Center. Inside sits our restaurant and whisky bar which opens onto a large decking over looking the river. Modern conference facilities and the High Coast souvenir shop complete the set up. The Visitor Center is a wonderful meeting place in all seasons for whisky friends, groups and companies who want to take part in a unique whisky experience.

Due to Swedish regulations, we are not allowed to sell bottles of whisky at our distillery. You can only find our whisky at the government owned store Systembolaget. You are more than welcome to try our whisky in our bar!

If you are yet to experience a High Coast tasting, you should definitely book a whisky tasting with us. At the High Coast Distillery, some of Sweden’s most knowledgeable and well-liked tasting leaders are happy to take you through an evening knowledge, anecdotes and fantastic whisky. Most often our tastings are done in Swedish, but if you contact us before hand, we can often accomodate tastings in english as well.

A guided tour around the distillery is a must when visiting us. For an hour or so you will go with one of our talented guides around and follow the path of the raw materials from our malt silo to warehouses. After the tour you can visit our bar and restaurant where we have a wide selection of current and previous releases. We normally do our public guided tours in Swedish, but upon request it might be possible to accomodate english tours and tastings.

We have excellent conference facilities at our visitor center situated alongside our restaurant. We have meeting rooms for small and large groups up to 45 people. Our conference facilities come fully serviced when it comes to food, drink and activities.
