Quercus I–IV Series

The Quercus series is unique in its kind. It is probably the first time a distillery is investigating which flavours the various oak species contribute to the whisky. Our study in oak consists of four maturations of whisky matured in the four oak species that dominate the beverage world. It is the European forest oak Quercus robur, the American white oak Quercus alba, the Eastern European mountain oak Quercus petraea and finally the Asian oak Quercus mongolica. These four editions are individually very difficult to find, therefore, this box provides an excellent opportunity for an exciting test of the taste buds of the various oak species and an opportunity to discover our most award-winning series so far.
