In November 2016, Box PX, a whisky matured in the most powerful sherry variety Pedro Ximenez, was launched. The whisky was originally designed to meet the need for this style of whisky from the Taiwanese market. The issue was also sold to a limited extent in other markets.
Box PX is a completely unpeated, dark and sweet whisky made of 100% Pilsner malt. The whisky has taken lots of character from the heavy Spanish sherry casks. Box PX quickly became much sought after and difficult to obtain in Europe.
