Mongolica

Previously, we released the award-winning whisky Quercus IV Mongolica, from the Quercus series, where different types of oak species and growth sites for the whisky were explored. Now we continue to explore the oak species found in Northeast Asia, our tribute to Quercus Mongolica.

The Asian oak has left its mark. Many people remember the popular Quercus series where Quercus IV Mongolica was the fourth and last in the series. To now be able to launch a variant with an even clearer character from this oak species in focus is a true pleasure.

With a scent of, among other things, dried apricots, cedar wood and elderflower, Mongolica intrigues. The taste comes with fruitiness such as apple and rowanberry jelly with a finish of star anise and vanilla sugar.
