In Flames MMXX
The third edition of our series In Flames Selection is like it’s precursors a cooperation with the rockgroup In Flames and their frontman Anders Fridén. Anders has been sniffing and tasting around our warehouses and found some amazing casks för this edition.
Anders has picked two 200–liters american virgin oak cask. The casks are sisters and was filled in 2012 with a mixture of unpeated (90,2 %) and peated (9,8 %) spirit. This presents the whisky with a very light peaty touch at 4 ppm. This is a whisky with a lot of taste and character. Or as Anders express it:
”Beautiful orange, almond and dried fruit on the noose.
Sweet toffee and a long lingering aftertaste.
You can do your own remix and add a few notes of water.
But I suggest that you first let the original hit you as the creator intended.”

In Flames MMXX consists of two 200-liters american virgin oak sister casks, filled with 4 ppm lightly peated spirit. 9,8% of the spirit was peated (43 ppm).
October 1 st 2020, 307 kilo whisky was taken from the two casks at 59,6% alc./vol. The whiskyn was bottled on the same day. In Flames MMXX contains no artificial colouring and is non chill-filtered. -
