Early Days Batch 002
Early Days 002 was introduced in April 2016. It is a combination of both peated and unpeated bourbon matured whisky from 130 liter barrels using 100% Pilsner malt

Pilsner malt dominated the whisky industry before modern and more effective grain varieties were developed. Two thirds of the contents is comprised of smoky whisky. The malt has been dried with peat from Scotland. The whiskey, despite its youth, is strikingly well-balanced and mature and received a very good reception by the international audience. The whisky is very floral and fruity and received a very good reception by the international audience. The whisky was exported mainly to France, Germany and England. This edition was also sold to a limited extent in the border trade.

Early Days Batch 002 was bottled on 6th April 2016 in a batch of 2000 bottles. The remaining whisky was put back into newly emptied quarter casks at 51.5% ABV. The whisky was distributed mainly to France, Germany, Denmark and Australia. The remaining bottles were reserved for fairs, events and tastings.
