What’s happening at High Coast Distillery autumn / winter 2019

October

Cask owner Saturday – 5/10
Price: 595 SEK.
Start at 1030.
A chance for the owners to meet their barrel or for curious to experience the distillery and start their fat journey.

Taste Ångermanälven – 9-10 / 10
Price: 3900 SEK
The boat departs from Härnösand at 1200. Join us on a River journey with Ådalen 3 on Ångermanälven with lunch and a whisky tasting on board. In the evening, enjoy a whisky dinner at the High Coast visitor center. After a lovely night at Hotell Hallstaberget there will be day 2 tasting and a tasty lunch at the distillery. Max 80 people.

After Work – 25/10
Price: 245 per person for buffet, 295 incl. Bus ticket
Come and enjoy delicious food and drink with friends. Entertainment for the evening is the troubadour Andreas Nilsson.

Lobster fishing for cask owners 26-27/10

At the end of October, the lobster heads to the West Coast. On October 26th & 27th all cask owners and part owners are welcome to pull lobster tins out of the depths together with High Coast’s Sara Larsson and Angela Friberg. Not to mention we’ll be enjoying some exceptional seafood and whisky while staying at one of Sweden’s best whisky bars, Brygghuset in Fiskebäckskil, makes everything even more luxurious.

 Price SEK 4,500 per person (part in double room), single room for supplement.

The High Coast Fire Dinner – 26/10

Price SEK 269 per person

We welcome you with fires outside the distillery. There is something good for everyone to heat in the fire before it is time for dinner in the visitor center which just tonight sparkles a little extra of candlelight.

No fire without flames. This evening we can offer that the whisky glasses are filled with exclusive In Flames 2019! The whisky released on October 3 in collaboration with the band In Flames, which sold out in 9 seconds. Alternatively, we serve a fiery non-alcoholic shot.

Our bottling In Flames will be sold at the bar for the first and maybe the last time; one of our most exclusive whisky varieties ever released with just over 300 bottles. Of course, you can also try our award-winning whisky Berg from the Origins series.

We light the fires at 17.00. A fiery two-course autumn dinner is served at 18.30 and we finish off with cowboy-coffee taken by the campfire outside.

Celebrate your Father with a delicious dinner of whisky and other malt drinks in focus.

Come and enjoy delicious food and drink with friends. Entertainment for the evening is troubadour Tony Naima.

December

Cask Owners Christmas dinner December 11-12

At 10.30 you are welcome to join us for cowboy-coffee by our riverbank campfire outside the distillery. Two days of good food, drink and company will begin there, starting with stories told by us by those who were there before Box became a distillery, before Box became the High Coast.
We promise a full and exciting day.

Maybe someone has bought a cask that should needs to be filled, or possibly a name plate should be nailed to an already filled cask. Naturally, during the day you will have the opportunity to taste your own cask and in the evening we will enjoy a traditional Christmas buffet, High Coast style.

A bus will then take you to Hotel Hallstaberget in Sollefteå which offers a magnificent view of the Ångermanälven river.

Day two starts with a lovely hotel breakfast and the opportunity to use the hotel’s fine spa department or just enjoy the wintry surroundings of Niporen town, which Sollefteå is called. A bus will return you back to the distillery for a lovely closing lunch.

Prices: One day 1295 SEK, Two days plus overnight, 2995 SEK per person for part in a double room. Single room supplement SEK 500. Last day for registering November 10th.

Christmas Dinner 2019

From 29/11 to 20/12 we serve our lovely Christmas table. Every week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy delicious Christmas delicacies, some of which have been inspired by our whisky. Embrace the Christmas spirit as well as some of our own in our welcoming seasonal restaurant. An experience you no doubt would wish to share with friends, relatives and colleagues. In addition to the amazing food, you also have the opportunity to taste a wide range of our whiskies from our whisky bar.
