General information

High Coast whisky (formerly Box) is a relatively young whisky company which in a short time received international recognition for its qualitative whisky. We sell and market our whisky mainly in Sweden but are also available in about 10 international markets.

High Coast Single malt whisky

On the 63rd latitude, in the northern part of Ådalen, in a bay on the river where the gravel road runs out is one of the world’s northernmost whisky distilleries.

Inside the heat behind the old power plant’s weathered brick facade, a constant hunt for details is underway. Nothing should be left to chance.

The place itself is no exception. The nature of Norrland, Ångermanälven’s ice-cold water, grim winters and warm summer nights puts its mark on our whisky. Add to that the knowledge and passion of us who work here and you get a world-class distillery.

Welcome home to us.
